Regional Benefits

Respect, teamwork, integrity and responsible citizenship. These are the principles that guide us in business, in our daily lives and in supporting our community. Many of our members also serve on the boards and committees of community agencies and foundations, lending their expertise to continue the mission of these vital organizations.

Not-for-profit agencies and organizations have greatly impacted and influenced Middlesex County's growth as a flourishing community. With that in mind, we've tailored a quality Networking Program to help members of community agencies get more out of Central Jersey's media and better prepare them for the "corporate ask" for in-kind gifts, sponsorships and grants.

Creating a team environment where business, education and government make a difference in the community is an important part of responsible citizenship. The Middlesex County Department of Education, Middlesex County Child Assault Prevention Project and AT&T collaborated with us to create a special county-wide observance on March 28, 2001: Middlesex County Day of Respect - Sixth Graders Leading the Way. Two sixth-grade students were selected from each school in the county to participate in an exciting interactive day of small group projects and share a special performance by "Shades," a group from Rutgers University. AT&T hosted the event and provided lunch for all of the participants.

We actively build the future of business and the workforce of Middlesex County through partnerships with Middlesex County College and the Middlesex County Job Opportunities Fair. We provide volunteers who perform mock interviews with college students before the Job Fair to engage the students in challenging questions. The business community is committed to workforce development and is always excited to volunteer and actively promote quality resources.
